What could this qualification lead to?

Our TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (RQF) Certificate is open to anybody who wants to acquire a complete recognised qualification as a Teaching Assistant and has a great interest in the topic, as well as an aim to develop within the Education sector.

  • The awarding organisation needs a meaningful work placement of at least 50 hours in a school to obtain the observational units. We recommend two days a week (16 hours) for optimal practise, however this is dependent on the availability of the school. This might involve both volunteer and paid employment.
  • Learners should be eager to work in the sector to assist classroom teaching and learning.
  • All students must pay attention to detail and be willing to work in a team setting.
  • When necessary, you should be willing to work on your own initiative.
  • Throughout your study session, students should have access to a computer and the internet.
  • In order to navigate our Learner Management System, learners need have basic PC capabilities (LMS)
  • You should be completely dedicated to your study at all times.
  • You must be at least 16 years old.
